  • PA Channels in series for overdrive?

I am playing with an old Traynor tube PA, looking to covert it to a guitar amp. Could I feasibly, run the output from one of the four input channels to the input of the next to create overdrive, or would I just create noise (or worse still, ruin the pa all together?)
    Thanks for any advice,
    Shane

I'm not sure what you've got but I used to run the left channel of my Deluxe Reverb into the right channel for overdrive. I eventually found it sounded better if I eliminated the tone stack from the first preamp.
I eventually turned it ito a 50 watt 2205 circuit, then after that completely re-did it into a stock Deluxe Reverb again. Start time: 1971 Finish time: 2009
