    Thank you for the input!
    The more i look in to this amp im starting to realize that it might be what im looking for.
    Have anyone of you used a fuzz face with this amp??

      Carbon resistors aren't very fond of high temperatures. The old originals probably used carbon resistors there. Oh yes it's the 100k resistor you mentioned.

      If I don't have an old amp cabinet to use I use any old box.

      Are playing fuzz guitar? I play fuzz guitar in a band. Listen to that's cheesy Them Tyrants, I'm playing fuzz guitar through a Hagström solid state.

        What's a carbon cap? Do you mean a carbon composition resistor? I wont use these any more, and I've replaced old CC in some Fenders when they became very noisy. You can built a great sounding amp using carbon film.
