  • Guess these choke ratings

From the junk pile in my stash. I am looking for a supply choke for CLC filter for a parallel 2 x 6V6 SE build. These 2 chokes both measure less than an ohm DC resistance and the wire in one of them is clearly largish (20?) gauge. The 22707 type choke (157R measured DC resistance) is in the middle for size comparison. The choke on the LH side of the pic has markings on top of it thus: "4415-026" and "01855" - No other discernible outward markings

Those chokes are probably too low in inductance. You want something between 0.3H and 2H which will be between 10 and 50 ohms.
WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.
REMEMBER: Everybody knows that smokin' ain't allowed in school !

If you have a signal generator, a resistor, and a decent VOM (or a scope), you can probably calculate it.
