  • Power transformer for homebrew SE stereo ECC99 power amp

I want to build a small stereo power amp to use at home, with a variety of preamps and modelers. Think bedroom size. Right & left line-level inputs, no preamp controls except a volume control for each channel. I was going to try to get away with one 12A_7 for the input, and I was hoping to have each power stage be a parallel-section ECC99 running single-ended. I have a bunch of small <5W OT options laying around, so I'm not worried too much about that, but I'm not sure what I could use for the power transformer.

I'm assuming it'll be cathode-bias, though I'm open to changing that, but I'm thinking I'd like to have a 300V B+ or thereabouts. Any suggestions for a way-cheap PT for this project?

You could probaly use the same PT they use on 18 watt Marshall clones. Heyboer, Hammond, whatever. But lock on eBay, people are scrapping old single ended stereos constantly. You can get a whole set of transformer for old Zeniths, Telefunkens, etc cheap.
