  • Who has built a Weber Revibe?

    Hi everybody!

I got a chassis and eyeletboard for a revibe. Weber style. http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...8827&rd=1&rd=1 And it gonna be my first kit based valve aparatus! I'm used to converting sound city PA's into guitar amps. I was wondering if any of you has ever built one? And if anybody could provide help? I'm feeling lost in front of that eyelet board, being more used to turrets. Photos would be welcome. Obviously, i have seen this page. http://www.el34world.com/Hoffman/revibe.htm But it's not using the same layout. Besides, i'd like to find the right tranies, mojo being a bit far from me, i was wondering if a champ power and output transformers woudl do the trick. I already have the choke. the sockets, jacks etc. Missing few resistors, caps and most of the pots. What would be the right requirements for teh power trany? Something like 2 amps of heater, and 70mA of power at 230 should do the trick? Like the first one on this page? http://www.amplimo.nl/index.html?lan...arget=d19.html

    Thanks a lot.

    Max.
