  • Where to Buy Quality Transformers in Europe

As we all know all those great and very musical amp transformers are usually from USA what about the Europe?

Looking for marshall and fender style transformers or even custom made specs one.

So are there any quality transformer makers in Europe that make the amp sing

    Thanks!!!

Where in Europe? the reason I ask is that shipping from the UK (and possibly returning an item) can be pricey. Hammond transformers have always been pretty good for me, and they're available worldwide.

I've had custom transformers to my design wound by VVT. Sowter are really good. Try also Living In The Past.

Technically there is no "European continent", look at a map its a single land mass with its big brother Asia! Should be named Asirope...So I'd get trannies from the east....

inMADout Transformers do good stuff and they can wind custom stuff for only a small surcharge over their existing range.

How do their prices compare to the Hammonds from Bluebell, once shipping etc is factored in (no prices listed on the website)?
                Thanks - Pete

I got a TU34M100 for 102 Euros delivered which at the time was a bit cheaper then getting a Hammond from bluebell and it's higher bandwidth too.

Technically, there is a European Continent. Look it up. Continents can be bounded by a land mass, not just oceans. Google is your friend.

Just had a custom made mains transformer from them, excellent price and quality.
