Hi. I have two Hammonds 1650R. Both ringing unacceptable over 4 kc. arround so have to snubbing somehow. My question regards the acceptable position of snubbing networks, meant series RC over each primary winding. So, is better to place it close to transformer and run long twisted wires then to the sockets or to run the OT wires to the sockets and place the components in near socket proximity(meant long wire to the B+ aso)? What do you think, please? Thanks
My first thought was to supres it close to the source (even inside the end bells) but maybe is wrong...
