Has anyone built the subject kit. I'm curious about its difficulty and the quality of the end product. Thanks

I have built the kit. The essence of it is great, though i would not get the tubes, they are pretty useless with it. I got a Mercury Mag output tran, but to be honest i didn't hear much of a difference.
The amp has a lot of bells and whistles, and i really didn't need them. I ended up not using the effects sends, as i think they sound pretty bad, and the "power" switch places a different load on your output so you also need to switch the impedance when doing it. As i said there are a lot of gizmos with it..
I really like the cabinet. The amp in the end has been great to me, but there are a few tweaks that i think are worth considering.
It really depends on what you want. I like the power section of the Matchless..Big A+ on that. Having the second AC15 inspired channel is pretty nice as well. The 1st channel in my mind sounds a lot better with a bit less gain than the DC30 has(more like a stock AC30) but that plays to my personal taste, so you can mess with the resistors/caps to get that.
With these things done i think the amp is amazing sounding, and quite sturdy.
I have used mine extensively gigging with no problems at all.
    Best

I have built this kit and have done a little rundown here:

Cool amp. I will probably continue to mod it 'til it's right for me.
