  • Small speakers

I was wondering if anyone knows of any 4 or 5" speakers that are available for guitar that will sound halfway decent. Looking for a speaker for a small practice amp with a Champ type-circuit.

    Hello???.....echo

I'm not looking for an A+ speaker just wondering if anyone knows of anything decent. I'm trying to replace an intercom speaker that is voiced all wrong for guitar.

    What about this?

Frequency range starts a 90Hz, guitar starts at 80Hz so maybe not the best for low frequencies.
Will this speaker be a bit too midrangey for guitar?

Between 75Hz-80Hz up to 5.5kHz-6kHz is the typical range for guitar speakers. You might notice less bass with smaller diameter speakers anyway

I think the mere fact of a speaker being 4" or 5" will guarantee that it's voiced wrong for guitar. I'd go for the Jensen, though I didn't even know they made 5" speakers.
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"
