Hi all,
I am building a Ceriatone Breme Brulee. It is 15 watt amp that will be run at half power most of the time (7 watts). I will use it for recording and for my band which plays at really really low volumes. I will need to build a cabinet as I don't want to run it as a combo. I was thinking a 2x10 or a 2x12 or possibly a 10" and a 12". I can't afford a 4x10. I don't need volume! I need full rich sound. Full bass with definition in it and I want more complexity and fullness compared to one 12". My big thing is I want the chime to come through. I want it to have some clarity when playing rhythm but also not sound thin when playing lead. I am debating between Weber and Eminence. I can afford two Blue Dogs or two Red Fangs (those both sound amazing). I also liked the Weber Ceramic 1225 British series. Other Eminence I liked - Governor and the Wizard.
One other thought to let you know what I am looking for sound. I have silverface Fenders (Deluxe and Princeton) and a Gibson GA-5T. I am love the bright sound from these. I want something very different than these as I have those to use already. I want something British sounding, lush or even dark.
I think a closed cabinet to emphasize the bass?
Suggestions?
Thanks!
Kevin
