Hi folks, long time since posting on here- greetings to y'all.
Now, I need to build a brownface type cabinet, ie a 'std' fender type with the amp/controls on front. The only info I need is the angled section (ie on the front at the top, where the amp/controls sit). Does anyone know what this angle is? also is a std chassis H for these types 2", or does that vary? Maybe someone has either one of the silver/blk/brownface cabs (assuming the angle and chassis H are a std dim/ the same) or a chassis to hand?
Fwiw I'm making a 23.5" x 18.25" x 9" 2x10 fingerjointed pine cab. Should be easy enough without the tweed 1.75 facia strips to rout in/add on.. albeit I can't figure out how I'd cut the angled ~3/4" off tbh! but I'll cross that bridge later- Im sure I can do somehow.
thanks capt.
