flashy grill cloth colors?

Hi,

does anybody know if there is a source for high quality grill cloth in flashy colors like turquise, red, green or such. All I can find is the usual vintage Fender/Vox/Marshall stuff and thin HiFi speaker style material. Any ideas?

The last time I wanted flashy grill cloth, to go with some sparkly gold tolex I found, I went to a big fabric shop and searched through piles of bolts of cloth til I found something reasonably suitable. Not perfect but okay. My wife knows far more about sewing than me, so she handled making up the grill.

thanks ... I haven't had much luck yet, finding anything at fabric shops that would make a good durable grill cloth.

If you still can’t find what you are after I am pretty sure you can buy the Marshall Style cane grill cloth and dye it to whatever colour you want. I am pretty sure that’s how the UK importer/manufacturer said they did it

Depending on the cabinet, a Woven Cane grill looks good on some amps too. It's not any more expensive than decent grill cloth. ... just a thought
