have a filmosound 156, model 12815 - this was originally used with field coil speaker - i only have the lunch pail head - my original thought was to just rework the power supply and try the rest of circuit as is- i have read other posts in which users said they basically got their filmosound up and running and it sounded good - ( i also understand the removal of photo tube etc) - however the way this thing is packed i am leaning towards a semi gut and maybe try something like the later 156 , 14027 which used a pm speaker - there are a few caps of the wax covered variety that are so buried, major removal of other parts would be necessary - and i know they will need to be replaced - any one ever deal with a field coil type filmosound - what course of action would you take? - oo3
