    With a center tapped high voltage secondary and a full wave rectifier... (solid or hollow state)... you can use one or a couple 5 watt zener diodes in the center tap of the winding to lower the B+ voltage a bit.
    Just remember to point the cathode band(s) of the zener diodes to chassis ground....
