  • need some help

    i have a small tube amp i want to use for guitar amp, theres a mic input and a phono input, the mic is the threaded type, do i replace that with the guitar input? its tubes are power tube 6l6 rec 5y3 looks like the preamp tube is 6sc7 should i try something like a 12ax7. there is a mic pot and a phono and a tone pot on the front of the chassis think i can figure out the the output load for the speaker

      i dont have a sch#. the maker is m-g or don mcgohan its probly made in the 50s there was a small slip of papper in the output trany it says 20 watt universal output push pull plates to voice coil pri 3k to 10k does that mean 4 or 8 oam speakers
