    I found it. Enzo, you said 3300 from pin 3 to ground but you meant pin 8 to ground. Was reading across parts of the circuit and found 33k instead of 3300 and checked my drawer and found this... (what do you notice in the photo?)

    I guess I've slipped out of the habit of reading each part with a meter before installing it..

    Should be up and running here in a sec.. oh and I rechecked that 12v reading and it must have been a mistake because it's reading 22.xxv

      Sorry, I meant the cathode, whichever side it was, glad you figured out what I meant.

        thanks as always for helping me along.
