2 quick advices: 1. We're not all hip to the number designations for old Fender amps. So name the amp please, don't make us hunt it down. B) Avoid black cardboard circuit board, frequently it is somewhat conductive which will drive you crazy trying to track down noises until you replace it with epoxy fiberglas or other non conductive board. You could even build on tie strips.

I'm sure that alnico Jensen will be just fine. "Best" is subjective, unless you've tried 'em all how can you know? I like the Jensen MOD 120W 15 but our ears may be looking for different things.
