Attached is a gif file of a cathode biased power section half, quarter and full power switch drawn by a member of the Hoffman amps forum some time ago.
Looking at this, I think I'd like to give it a try. What kind of power rating would you suggest for the 330 & 100k ohm risistors on the switch, with the bias resisors being 520 ohm -5W?

Any 2a to 5a SPST switch will work fine.
Bruce does this stby arrangement have a pop? My stby switch is popping, especially when placed IN stby mode. I have it breaking the B+ line.
