    I always used a 45 watt reissue blackface Super Reverb OT that had 2,4 and 8 ohm taps. MOJO sells one now that is excellent.
    Anyone building a Weber 5E3x2 kit might want to sub the W018343 OT for the stock kit model. It sounds more like the OT Bruce describes. It specs out like the 40428 but is a larger size like the xformers for the Super Reverb, Bassman, etc.

      Yes, I made one. Thank Bruce, this is a great design. Give you the Tweed Deluxe tone with a lot more presence, mine is now running with a fix bias, it wass very hot inside the chassis using the cathode bias original design. I love it.
