Mission Amp's 5E3, First Jam Report

I built this thing about 3 years ago. Just goofed around with it at bedroom volumes. This weekend I decided to give up the "Security" of my "Go To" amp and take the 5E3 with me to my weekly jam session (Just me and my favorite drummer killing a couple of hours each week). All I can say is "Hello new Go To Amp"! This thing just floored me and the drummer. Just a late '90's Amer Std Tele with Rio Grande Muy Grande pickups straight into the amp. I'm in LOVE.

So sad that it took three years to figure this out! 5E3s love to be cranked, and especially if you play a style that doesn't require much in the way of clean headroom, you're golden....

You're right, I don't know what I was thinking. This thing fits my style perfectly.

First amp I ever built! Here's a pic of it at my son's recent graduation party. It's to the left on the floor. Put a mic on it and it hung well with the 2 Metroamp clones that were there.
