  • WGS Alnico clip

its a tad over 6 minutes long

    http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...songID=6668080

I Finally got the record level right.

This is my tele with Nocaster pups, vol between 6-8 tone 6-8, going into the bright #1 input B vol 3 Normal vol 0, tone 5.

The speaker is a WGS Black and Blue.

No effects or processing, recorded on garageband with a cheap Nady USB mic.

For more gain I used a harder pick attack, for quieter, I softened my attack.

Sounds wonderful. Really good demo of what a Deluxe can sound like.

    Nice playing too.

Sounds really nice....and I'm glad to hear it because I just ordered the exact speaker for a 5E3 style amp! Should be here any day, I'm looking forward to it!

Thanks, this speaker is the closest to a blue that I have foumd. I want to try the green beret too. The clips don't do it justice, its got the bounce and chime that you would expect in vintage alnico.

Well, I got my black and blue and installed it, and it sounds gorgeous! I've heard people talk about how Celestion Blues can sound "3D", but now I understand it. Well worth the money, and the Warehouse was the cheapest blue clone I came across.
