5e3 kit Build and 57 Deluxe Reissue Design

It looks like fender put a 4A 250V fuse in line with the Power transformer outputs on the 5 VAC and 6.3 VAC secondaries.

Has anyone been putting fuses on the secondary PT 5 VAC and 6.3 VAC outputs of there 5e3 kits amps?

Good idea or not?

I am learning. My posts should not be considered as expert advice or suggestions for you to implement... on the contrary, I am looking for expert advice!

Safety rules in some countries require that a short on any winding blow the main fuse or otherwise not cause the transformer to catch on fire. You usually don't see these parts on amps made for sales in the US.

WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.
REMEMBER: Everybody knows that smokin' ain't allowed in school !
