5e3 Resistor ?

  • 5e3 Resistor ?

    Hey guys ,can someone tell me the value of the resistor between the filter capson the 5e3 schematic? One is 22k but what value is the one 5000? What esle can I use there as a replacement?

      2 watts at 5100 ohms.... standard replacement value.
      You can even use a 2 watt 4700 ohm resistor with virtually no change real in anything sonic.

        Hey Bruce, can I use a 10watt 5K ceramic power resistor there instead? I have several of those.

              I have an original 1958 tweed Deluxe in for an input jack replacement today and it has a 2 watt, carbon comp 4700 ohm resistor installed... it looks dead stock with no mods what so ever.
