    I really dont understand this diagram:



    My jacks are 4 times mono, not switching.

    How do I wire the inputs so that number 2 are the quitere ones?

    Look harder...

    When plugged into the 1) jack you have a series resistance of 34k and a load of 1M. When plugged into the 2) jack you have a series resistance of 68k and a load of 68k. It's all in the switch function. As with all of these types of hi/low jack setups, both 1) and 2) jacks are high gain when both are plugged in at the same time.

      Ok thanks. I wasnt sure if the arrow meant switch, that solves the mystery.
