Hello all: I have followed this forum for a number of years and have gathered a tremendous amount of info. I did not see an "introduce yourself section" so I hope this post does not offend. I finally took the 5e3 plunge and suspect I will be searching here often. I have a background in audio (late 70's to the mid 90's) now I do home/studio recording as a hobby that keeps me sane vs my day gig. I love music production and DIY. Ok thats enough of that dating game tripe. Be well all. Thurgood.

Is it Ok to post real names? if not what is the protocol?

Welcome Thurgood! I am fairly new to this forum and amp building myself. I recently finished my Triode 5E3 kit, but I have a few kinks to work out. I came here looking for some help, but unfortunetly it is not as active as I hoped. I caught the amp bug however, and now I am looking to build a 5F1 Champ next. Do you have any pics of your current build?
