5e7 transformer ?

I'm wanting to build a 5e7 and I have the chassis,turret board etc, and now I'm looking into the transformers. I checked out Mercury Magetics trannys but they are a bit pricey. Is there a cheaper set I could use in this amp? If I do use a cheaper set, would I be comprimising the tone of the amp in any way? What would you guys suggest?

I just noticed the OP is in Canada. Hammod is made in Canada and you can get those localy in Can. and save the crazy duties Canadians have to pay for imports. Hammond makes some pretty nice stuff actually.
