I obtained a Tweed Twin cabinet (2x12) from Mojo some time ago. I'm not sure what chassis it was made to fit. The cutout is 16 3/8 inches. Does anybody know what will fit? What I'd really like to know is the mounting screw distance on that chassis so that when I get the correct chassis, I won't have an extra hole.

some guy probably has a Fender chassis dimensions tattoo but I'd have to look here:

OK, but I need to know the distance between the screws that hold the chassis into the cabinet. The Ampwares site doesn't have that info anywhere I could find.WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.

Unfortunately, the varies from supplier to supplier. Mojo, Fender, Weber, etc. are not the same depending on chassis. That's why cabinet makers refuse to pre-drill the chassis holes unless they have the chassis in hand.
You haven't supplied the distance from center to center of your existing holes, which would certainly help. You just expect everytone to list out all the chassis distances they have access to? But from here, you'll have to canvas, Weber, Mojo and the others to inquire.

The chassis I have is a 5E8 "low power Twin". It's basically the same size as a 5F6A, 19 inches on center between the mounting holes. Judging from the 5F6A-RI I have, the distance from the inside of the cabinet cutout (including tweed) to the hole is 7/8 inch. I drilled a hole for a traditional mounting hole on the end with the input jacks, then on the other end I used sheet metal screws inside the chassis through the mounting hole on that end and the hole for the ground switch. There is a bracket that holds the transformer to the cabinet that bears most of the weight. The cabinet seems to be a 5F8 except for the chassis cutout because both speakers are along the bottom of the cabinet and the dimentions agree with what's on Ampwares.
It would be nice if the chassis sizes were all collected somewhere. For instance, I'd like to know if the 5E8 and 5F6 chassis' are the same size. The Mojo chassis' are the same size according to their website.WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged.
