  • Good sources for tweed cabinets these days?

Just wondering who is making tweed cabinets these days. The cheaper than better... maybe even without the tweed covering.

    Thanks!

Ebay user sorrycharly, his store is called Pine Guitar Speaker Cabinet Builder, seems pretty good. He also uses the name rawcabs that you should find in a simple search. His cabs aren't covered but they are made of pine and there is a wide variety. He gives you the option of a little extra space in areas where covering would need to fit between pieces.
WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.
REMEMBER: Everybody knows that smokin' ain't allowed in school !

I've used sorrycharly before on ebay. I bought a finished cab for a 5e3 build. Very well built, personable guy (will build you just about anything), finish is great, and he packs things very very well. Cost is right too!

I don't think he covers his cabs -- just finishes with poly or some type of wood finish. You can get a raw cab and do it yourself though.
