  • 5F1 build and Classictone PT

Just need a little help with the final PT wiring on my 5F1 build.
I'm using a Classictone 40-18019 PT and using the triode layout.
I'm using the standard Fender type bayonet lamp holder.
I'm was told to ground only the red/yel and NOT the green/yel because that type of pilot light is grounded.

    Does this seem right?

Triode's layout shows Gr/Ylw grounded... as does every other Fender I've seen with a heater CT. Sure, the lamp holder itself is grounded, but the bulb is isolated from chassis. Bad things happen if the tabs on the pilot connections (not the casing itself) get grounded... Just follow the Triode layout.

"Of course that means playing **LOUD** , best but useless solution to modern sissy snowflake players." - J.M. Fahey -
"All I ever managed to do with that amp was... kill small rodents within a 50 yard radius of my practice building." - Tone Meister -

      Tks Justin.
I was confused because Classictone told me not to connect that wire...and I was unsure if the standard Fender style you get from tube depot / watts was grounded.
I tested with an ohmmeter and there doesnt seem to be a ground.
