3M Reverse pots Q..

Hi all- Im turning my 5e3 into a BF princeton (here seems closest place to ask this non-tweed Q as it were): can I use anything instead of the 3M reverse audio 'speed' pot? (hard to find in Uk- or other 3Ms either).

Use a tremolo circuit that uses standard pot values. You don't have to copy the Princeton method. See some of the old Ampegs, for example.

Jm Ive already built the circuit or Id do as you suggest, so Im still wondering if any other more common value, ie a 1M pot could be used. The cts types are rarely seen this side of the pond.

Sure, you can use any high value pot, it just won't be optimal. You won't blow anything up. On the other hand, I have ripped out circuits five or six times in an afternoon to get what I want.
