Hoffman 5F6A Layout Question

On the Hoffman 5F6A Layout, I noticed a few changes from the Fender Schematic that I wanted to ask and see if anybody knew what they were for or why Hoffman would change them...

the main ones are

1. On the V1 pin 8 instead of being jumped over to pin 3 there's a 1.5K/.22 CAP tied to Pin 8. What would this be for?

2.Also, in the Phase Inverter there's no 47mmf tied to pins 1 and 6 like the Fender layout, how come this is eliminated?

I think Hoffman split the cathodes on V1. One has bass guitar values 820/220uf and the other more typical Fender guitar amp values.

Hoffman doesn't like the 47pf snubbing cap and feels like it kills the highs.
