Cool stuff here. Do you know what pedals were used for the overdrive / distortion tones?

Thanks.
On 'Savoy Zep' the 335 is through a Vox Wah.
On this page: http://www.recproaudio.com/cayocosta_music/index.htm, the lead guitar bits on 'Showbiz' is a stock 57 RI Strat through an orange squeezer. The squeezer provides a nice boost for the Strat which is otherwise too wimpy to drive the Deluxe.
(The squeezer, though still noisy, is much quieter than a Ross when boosting, by the way.)
That's it for pedals. Everything else is the guitar straight into the Deluxe.
If anyone's interested, the Deluxe is setup like this:
NOS Blackplates and preamp tubes. 60 Jensen P12Q reconed. 54 Gretsch power tranny, 65 Premier output tranny, 50's tube sockets (6V6), and a mix of orange drops and mallorys. Paul C mod. The caps were reduced here and there. There's also an NOS mica cap for the bright channel. I also use a variac at about 105VAC output to keep the thing cool. Sounds a little better to me also.

Cool Site
Really full body mixing, I heard the Flodian 2 & Savor Zep,great clip presentation.
A studio recordist friend of mine ranted about me building LA 2 or a
Pultec EQ. Just using the scheamatic was only part of the process
of DIY builds, never considered the effort. I found that the LA 2 scheamatic
required quality audio transformers and I didn't understand the opto chain.
Its a challenging build though. The infomation on PRO AUDIO DIY, it inspires
the build possibility.
The Putec looked easier, for starters.
