Odd, I've seen them many times on the legs of the FET's, but never glued to the body of the device. Maybe they're handles to remove the device easier. Lol"I took a photo of my ohm meter... It didn't help." Enzo 8/20/22

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that electrons don’t move through crystal lattices as good as tubes. So the ferrite beads are attached as a power saving tool. It all really makes perfect sense. When the going gets weird... The weird turn pro!

The beads are glued to all six FETs on one side, and none on the other side! Everything in this amp is mint, untouched, as from factory. As you can see, there are also ferrite beads on the (gate or source?) resistors, that's not uncommon.
Head scratcher.
Anyway, this amp just had a broken treble pot, which was pretty easy to access after removing face plate.

Maybe some kind of oscillation issue?
Other pics I've found don't have them, so I'll guess they had an issue that got dealt with or this was a way of dealing with some issue?Originally posted by EnzoI have a sign in my shop that says, "Never think up reasons not to check something."
