Ampeg SVT static/crackling on power up

Oh yeah, I'm never a fan of when they use the parts themselves to also hold the board on. I'd liiiiiike to see better at this price point, but here we are.

Sad to say, their enginering design staff had alternate believes...who needs stinkin' proper PCB support when we have those chassis-mounted pots and connectors to support the PCB with. Saves cost. So what if over time, the handling of the 80 lb amplifier inflicts shock to the entire electrical system and eventually causes solder joint fractures. NOTHING is perfect. We make money on post-sales service.
