        Wow, so I was at least right about Wales.
        Once I was in Aberystwyth during a camping trip and had no idea how to pronounce it (in my youth that was).

            Regarding this thread... The important thing about that river is that Sea Chiefs amp isn't in it.

              The only thing that's prevented me from putting it in the Ystwyth Chuck (Y pronounced like 'uh') is the weight hauling it into my car boot, & out again.

              I live a few miles from the sea too..

                I had no idea there was a county called Ceredigion, before 8 years ago since I moved out here from england (me: moch seisneg, english pig)!

                Interesting that you've been here HH. Some fine camping spots indeed. Correct pronunciation, is 'Uh'stwyth. Not 'Istwyth' (to be very correct).

                The Ystwyth valley, just over the hill here/ my locale: a -really- beautiful welsh valley, a real gem.
