Hello fellow Members, long time no see...
on my desk is a Super Champ X2 where the channel (push/push) switch doesn't word like it should. The channel switching works fine with the foot switch.
While in the 1st (clean) channel I can push the button on the amp and the indicator light of the 2nd channel comes on. The amp plays in the second (16 voices) channel as long as I hold the button down. As soon as I release the button it comes out again, the light goes off and the amp goes back to the 1st channel.
I have a second amp of these and found that the push/push button should stay "in" when switched to the 2nd channel.
Is this a common fault of these amps?
Can the switch sort of " be repaired" without pulling the pcb? (maybe some lube or so?)
I'd appreciate every comment.
Thanks in advance
Matt
