  • Behringer PMP500 MP3 Schematic

    Looking for a Behringer PMP500 MP3 Schematic.
    It's the little mixer.

This is still a current model so I doubt a service manual/schematic is available for non Behringer service centres.
Support for Fender, Laney, Marshall, Mesa, VOX and many more. https://jonsnell.co.uk
If you can't fix it, I probably can.

Unfortunately, there is no MP3 in that model.

Being a 'current' model makes me wonder what Class D output ic they now use.
This one has the TDA8954TH ic, which is obsolete (as in, not available but from China)

There are no replacements. The 8950 can still be replaced by the 8954, with some modifications. There are good quality chips available in China, but you should look for an honest seller.
You can reverse it too, with lowering the supply voltage, which would probably be problematic and with some tweaking.
And as I understand it, replacement with intricacies is not your thing.
I myself try not to apply modifications, but use the original components for the device. But to solve the problem at any cost sometimes it may have a method.

                Huh.
I found that I have an original IC.
It was in the wrong parts bin.

Putting the last chip in isn't good either.
How to determine the defect 100% afterwards?

I have one here that I sourced here in the states.
                    Good thought.
I think that I will try that one first.
