  • Elk Stage Man (EB-101) Amp Rebuild - Trem circuit not working!

    Hi all,

Hoping for some input on this one as I am a bit stumped on why I can't get the trem circuit to work on this Elk Stage Man (EB-101). I've replaced all of the capacitors in the amp (electrolytics + dried out oil coupling caps + caps on underside of board) and also replaced all of the tubes. Everything on the amp sounds fantastic now, amazing tone and super clean output with no weird buzzing or hum.

So far the resistor values don't seem to have drifted in the trem and I can hear the circuit engaging, though the amplitude modulation doesn't seem to be kicking in. Just hoping for input from anyone who has worked on one OR has a schematic since they seemingly do not exist out there.

    Thanks in advance!

    Schematic?
Support for Fender, Laney, Marshall, Mesa, VOX and many more. https://jonsnell.co.uk
If you can't fix it, I probably can.

Two of the Elk schems in this zip have trem, maybe one of them is similar?

Thank you! The trem circuit appears to be the same as the one in the ES-30.
