Hello,
i have this amp to repair. The problem is there are crakling noises on both inputs when guitar pick attack. The problem comes from after the return jack. So i think it comes from the power stage.
But in this amp, there is a power scale that play with the B+ voltage, ie the plate and grid voltages.
My question is : can this system of power scaling damage the tube or worst, the OT? If the tube plate is often at 30 V only?
