  • Marshall code 50 power supply components

    Hi all
    I have a marshall code 50 Combo
with a blown psu. I have spoken to marshall and they said that they don't have the smpsu diagram for this model
I asked about a replacement board, But this one is no longer being made

So i either give back or try and repair. I have one resistor blown and have no idea of the value
R10. does anyone here have a scrap board or have knowledge of the same fault
Once i know the resistor value i can order along with other compenents

Marshall did send me a schematic , but i think its for the current model and has no smpsu

    many thanks in advance
    Mr A

Looks like a relatively simple SMPS.
Check the switching mosfet for a short.

R 10 (0.25 ohm) connects to the mosfet source pin & eventually pin 3 of the driver ic.

Thanks jazz p bass. Marshall in the UK have gone to sh@t the last year or so. The only thing I like about them is cheap tubes I search the net for a schematic on the psu , couldn't find anything.
          Thanks again
