peavy 5150 combo

hey all i have a problem w/ my 5150 i turn the amp on but the power&standby light wont turn on . the tubes light up and i can hear a huming sound,which gets louder and louder but i turn it off becuse im afraid it'll blow the amp. does any one no what may be wrong?thanks chris78
could it be a fuse proble thats on the circut board?

Sounds like power supply problems. If you are not technically proficient, I would suggest leaving it to a pro....

I vote that one or more of your internal fuses are blown. And that is most likely because of a bad power tube.
