+1, I can't imagine both screen grid Rs on the same side burning unless it's a bias issue. And bias issues that effect only one side aren't typical. But it does happen. Sucks it's not working, but my goal was to get JB into 50 watts AB1 instead of some much lower wattage class A into a push/pull OT. Oh well, whats done is done. Hopefully the amp will find itself in a shop soon.
When I used Marshalls I always had to keep two on hand or reserve one at a rental shop local to the gig. It always seems to be something different with Marshalls. And though they seem to be made well and enjoy continued success, mine and everyone elses I know of seem to break down more frequently than is acceptible.

I'm Back!
Sovtek 6L6/5881 tubes came in, installed matched set. Back to normal clean and loud volume but....
RED LIGHT - v10, v12 trouble when standby up...
Manual says replace fuse and rebias. Will this fuse be at radio shack (one close by) or......?
And if I rebias myself, can a get a dc volt meter at radio shack? Do I need some type of "pro" one that people who do this for a living use?
Thanks, - luckily no show till after Xmas, so have some time.
