I have just bought a Leslie 825 speaker and preamp, i bought it knowing that the rotor has stopped spinning, does any one have any advice on where to start, the guy that sold it seems to think the breaker button is faulty but he is only guessing, I bought it fairly cheap so I didn't think it was to big of a risk to take, I am still waiting for it to arrive so I don't know much else about it. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a motor or motors. There is a power source and switching for the motor. The motor has to mechanically turn the rotor with a belt or a rubber tire or whatever. You determine where the trouble is. Does the motor turn? Is it getting voltage? etc.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
