Valve Junior - filaments intermittent

I suspected filament rectifier or filter cap... these amps have external in-line fuse holders with springs inside them. The springs had twisted around eachother and thus were not creating good contact pressure inside. just thought I'd post for anyone who might search for this symptom in the future.
