  • hartke 3500 bad input

    ive had this hartke 3500 for a while it got knocked over while playing a show and now the active input dose not work anyone know why or how i can fix it myself?

    You have a broken jack or a broken control on the panel most likely.

      so u know where i can get a new jack is it haed to do?

        Open the amp up (remove top cover), take the jack out. I believe it has a plastic nut on it and inside it's attached to the main preamp board with connector. Unplug the connector from main circuit board and remove complete jack assembly assembly (I think the jack is soldered to a small circuit board if memory serves me correctly).

        Go to www.tubesandmore.com, match your connector with one in their catalog and order it. I think one of the "Cliff" jacks will work. Remove and replace the jack, reverse steps and you should be good to go....
