Peavey TNT 150 bass amp has no high gain

Hi i have an old peavey TNT 150 which functions good when plugged into low gain but when i plug into high gain there is a kind of feedback noise and it doesn't work. Any ideas? thanks

Most likely it is the jack itself, they both go to the same place.

Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
