volume problems

i have a mesa boogie 50/50 power amp that has lost volume in one channel.having replaced all of the tubes for new ones i still had the problem so i replaced the volume pot and regained some volume but only half as much as the other channel.the volume pot i put in was a 250k.can anybody help me please

Well, get in there and start checking the voltages at the tubes. Make sure any output impedance selector, if any, is OK. Applpy a signal to the input and trace it through the amp with a scope.
