Hello All,
I play bass through a SVT-6 Pro and a mesa Powerhouse 1200 cab and have been running into some strange issues. Now and then the rig decides to starts buzzing like the gain is cranked and overdriving the speakers when playing the bass. It only happens now and again and sometimes will last for half an hour and sometimes only minutes. I often leave the amp on top of the cabinet while playing, could the vibrations be messing up the Amp?
Any advice would be great, At first i thought it was the tweeter in the bass cabinet but after hooking the amp to another speaker the same noise was heard. I normally run the amp at about 1/4 volume and 1/2 Gain.
Where should I start?
