Ampeg B 100R -15dB problem

The -15 db input on my Amp has a signal (signal light strong and then fades out) at first then there is no sound. This happens within 10 minutes of initial start up.

Anyone had this problem and/or have ideas on how to test, fix, etc. before I take to the shop?
