  • What Voltage should my Bias be set at?

In a Marshall JVM 410H with a fresh set of Groove Tube GT EL34-R's

    My right side reads .76mV

    My left reads .120mV

I did a search and found a thread that read "for a Marshall DSL 2000 the EL34's should be around .80mVs". Is that high? I thought EL34s' should be around .34mV?

    ?

Thanks I’m reading and trying to learn as much as I can. This is a whole new world for me.

80mv would be for two tubes, that is 40ma apiece. If you want 34ma, then go for 68 for two.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

      Thanks!

Rad I get it now! I don't know why that didn't come to me. That makes so much sense!
